A Day in the Life

Sometimes it's more than just a moment we are asked to photograph, more than a relationship between people or between families.

"This is it, this is us, this is our life. When we look back in years to come, we want to remember it with all the details of the things we love and enjoy. Time has a habit of running away on us and our memories fade so quickly" our clients tell us. Images have a wonderful ability to transport us back and create beautiful feelings of connecting with the past, with people and places we love.


A Day in the Life is just that. The Singh family were moving to a new home with their beautiful daughter and were sad to leave it all behind. We spend a really enjoyable afternoon with them at their home and in their neighbourhood, capturing memories for them to treasure as they move forward into the next phase of their life.

With everything from the playing with their daughter on the porch, sitting on the favourite bench in the back yard and relaxing in the family room, we captured it. Creating intimate images of the family together at home and fun shots of them out walking, enjoying the sunshine and even having icecream was all part of it!

It's such a priviledge to be part of people's lives and we are so thankful to Sammy & Magda for allowing us into their lives and create a beautiful book for them to treasure.
